Hi-Bri’s Dance Studio is a well-established dance school based in the heart of Shirley, Solihull.  Founded in 1975 by Mr Brian Sharp, Hi-Bri’s teaches hundreds of students a week ranging from toddlers to young adults.  The dance school runs its own classes on Mondays, Tuesdays & Saturdays in a range of modern styles including commercial, street and jazz. – see our “Classes” page for further info.  For the remainder of the week, we hire out the studio to lots of other exciting classes – see our “What’s On” page for further info!

 

Since taking over Hi-Bri’s fifteen years ago John-Paul Lake, together with the support of his creative team, have built upon the school’s solid foundation and taken it from strength to strength.  Having a passion for dancing and performing themselves, the team bring excitement and enthusiasm to their roles as choreographers and encourage all the students to work hard to become the best dancers they can be.

 

John-Paul understands a dancer’s desire to perform and strives to give his students every opportunity possible to showcase their talent and passion, including regular showcases at The Dovehouse Theatre and Solihull Arts Complex as well as taking part in productions such as CHANCE2DANCE at Birmingham Hippodrome, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, etc.  All pupils are also given the opportunity to be part of our competition troupes which have won numerous trophies over the last few years, but the main aim of the school is for the students to have fun, enjoy themselves and increase their confidence along the way.
